Breathing room for venture partners is here—welcome to Airspace.

An expert-led 12‑week performance lab for GPs who can’t afford foggy thinking.

A confidential, 60‑minutes‑a‑week room where GPs at $100M+ funds pressure‑test live decisions, clear mental overload, and avoid costly mistakes, without adding more to their plate. What problem is this solving?

Being a GP at a scaled fund means the pressure never shuts off. Deals in motion, founders in crisis, LP expectations, internal politics. These scenarios are all competing for the same finite mental bandwidth at once.

There’s no neutral room to slow down, sort the noise, and look honestly at how that load is affecting judgment, relationships, and long‑term performance. No place to talk to other people who just get it. Most partners just push through until something breaks: a blown IC call, a frayed founder relationship, or a quiet step back from the firm.

What is Airspace?

Each week, a small group of 8–10 non‑competing partners meets for 60 minutes to:

  • Break down real, current situations (deals, firm dynamics, LP issues) into concrete decision points.

  • Identify what’s actually draining cognitive bandwidth and clarity.

  • Apply proven performance and leadership protocols to choose better actions in real time, with subject matter experts leading.

No journaling, no pre‑work, no “homework.” Everything happens in the session.

What Airspace is not.

Not therapy or a support group.

  • Not generic executive coaching.

  • Not a productivity hack or a wellness perk.

It’s a structured, time‑boxed environment to make higher‑quality decisions under pressure, with peers who understand the stakes.

How do sessions work?

Each 60‑minute session follows a tight structure:

  1. Check‑in (10 minutes): Quick scan of current load: active deals, internal fires, personal bandwidth.

  2. Deep dive (30 minutes): 1–2 partners bring a live situation: a shaky deal, a tough founder conversation, an IC or LP dilemma. The group breaks it into data points: facts, assumptions, emotional load, and blind spots.

  3. Performance protocol (20 minutes): The facilitator layers in a specific framework (from medicine, performance psychology, or leadership science) to help de‑risk the decision and reduce cognitive congestion.

Every session ends with one concrete shift per partner: a decision, a conversation, or a boundary they will execute that week.

Partners join Airspace to: reduce the odds of a bad eight‑figure decision made under exhaustion, have 1 protected hour/week where they can be fully candid without reputational risk, build a reliable ‘mental OS’ for complex calls, and build a strong community over 12 weeks.

The goal? Fewer unforced errors, more consistent performance, and a more sustainable pace over the long term.

If you read this and can immediately picture two or three situations you’d bring into the room, you’re the right fit.

  • Format: 12 weeks, 60 minutes per week, all live sessions.

Cohort size: 8–10 GPs / MDs.

Confidentiality: Strict Chatham House Rules; no recording.

Preparation: None required; all work is done in session. We design around your workload, not against it.

    • A founder who has built clinical‑grade behavior-change programs for high‑pressure professionals (law firm partners and founders).

    • Behavioral science and performance experts experienced in stress physiology and decision‑making under pressure

Our group of facilitators is growing. We bring the same rigor used in surgery and elite sport into the realities of venture, without jargon.

  • The pilot investment is $5,000 per partner for 4 weeks (a fraction of the cost of a missed deal, a burned‑out GP, or a damaged LP relationship).

Simple guarantee: If by week 3 you feel it isn’t materially improving clarity or decisions, we’ll extend four additional sessions at no cost.
